It’s International Women’s Day today so you should tune in to Riot Grrrl from 6-8pm. We are highlighting women artists from all around the world and celebrating womanhood!

This week’s riot grrrl is BARBARA KRUGER. Kruger’s artwork has a firm basis in social, cultural, and political critique.

She juxtaposes imagery with text containing criticism of sexism/misogyny and cultural power structures. Much of her text questions the viewer about feminism, classicism, consumerism, and individual autonomy and desire.
